FAQ

What is a pip in forex trading?

A pip (Percentage in Point) is the smallest standard price move. Most pairs use 0.0001, JPY pairs use 0.01, gold uses 0.10.

How do I calculate pips between two prices?

Subtract the entry from the exit and divide by the pip size. EUR/USD 1.08500 → 1.09000 = 50 pips.

How many pips is a $1 move in gold?

On XAUUSD, 1 pip = $0.10 — so a $1.00 move equals 10 pips.
