The Pound to Dollar (GBP/USD) exchange rate moved lower on Monday as escalating tensions in the Middle East and stronger-than-expected US economic data boosted demand for the safe-haven US Dollar. At the time of writing, GBP/USD was trading around $1.3423, down more than 0.2% on the day.
